To add items to a Kaboodle list, you will need the Kaboodle buttons.

The "Add to Kaboodle" button allows you to add things to your Kaboodle lists, and the "My Kaboodle" button takes you to your personalized Kaboodle homepage where you can view all of your lists and friends in one place. If you don’t have them yet, get the buttons.

When you find something you would like to add to your list, click the "Add to Kaboodle" button on your browser. Kaboodle will automatically choose relevant summary information from the page like a picture, description and price. If you want to add customized information, simply click on the "Fix Details" link to change what information gets added to Kaboodle.

You can also create an item with an image on your hard drive. To do so, click "Create item" from the Kaboodle list to which you wish to add an item. You can easily add a title, description, and even pictures from your computer.

You can add as many items as you want to each of your lists. A "Maui Vacation" list might include items like hotels, restaurants, travel articles, a map, information on scuba diving and whale watching, lists of the best beaches, and more.

You can easily share a Kaboodle lists and items with your friends and family. If you wish, you can choose to allow others to add items and comments to your list (great for shared research!).

Each person you invite will receive an invitation via email to view the list. Share your experience and expertise by leaving comments on other Kaboodlers’ lists.

You can also search other Kaboodlers’ lists via the search box in the upper-right hand corner of every list, or browse via the Explore tab. If you find a list you want to reference in the future, click "Add to Favorites" and a link to that list will be added to your lists. If you find a list or items that you would like to copy, click "Copy" to add them to one of your own Kaboodle lists.

Kaboodle is a great place to connect with friends, do shared research, and each other make buying decisions. Adding friends to Kaboodle is easy, as you can simply add existing Kaboodlers to your list by hitting the "Add As A Friend" button, or if your friends aren’t Kaboodlers yet, you can send them an email invitation to create an account. Once your friends have accepted your Kaboodle invitation, you will automatically be connected in Kaboodle. From that point on, you can see all of their Kaboodle activity via your Kaboodle home page.
